However, the CHIRP+ – which stands for Compressed High- Intensity Radiated Pulse – emits a continuous flow of pulses ranging from low to high frequencies in a given beam (cone angle). So, for example, the high CHIRP setting, which ranges from 635 to 715kHz in frequency on the CHIRP+, will produce one pulse at 635kHz followed by one at 636kHz and so on, all the way to 715kHz before starting over again.
