It is versatile enough to be worn in a casual environment and the office. In addition, this mystical scent will gain you several compliments from your coworkers. Seasonally, it is better in cooler to moderate conditions; it is not a summer perfume.

I don’t find its longevity to be anything spectacular either, it will usually last for what you need it to do (6 hours of solid performance and then maybe 2 more that it has faded a bit). For me, it has been a consistent 6-8 hour scent over the years, including the last time I recently tried it. For me it was immediately clear, on my next date I'm going to look for the bottle in my parents bedroom. Projection wise, it’s not a fill the room scent. It is subtle, but still noticeable, to those in your immediate presence. The sillage starts off moderate, but goes light after about an hour or two. Don’t expect a powerhouse from this or the other scents in the L’Homme lineup of colognes. The first impressions that I gather from La Nuit is how utterly perfect it seems for nighttime wear. I mean, there are plenty of great smelling colognes, but this is just built for a night on the town and for getting close to the ladies. And so it happened, too. I can remember the countless times I reached for the wonderful bottle to fragrance myself beautifully before I left the house. My date became my girlfriend and with certainty she still associates this fragrance with me today.As soon as the fragrance leaves the bottle, I perceive this sensual sweetness, which makes me sniff at myself all the time. I admit... I'm a "if it-it-weeksly-licious-smells-always-on-myself" sniffer.
