Though there were times when some of the actions of the younger characters were quite annoying—Shari essentially bullying Greg into bringing the haunted camera—I could understand that this was the essence of the 90s writing style. Julie gets a phone call from her mother, and Julie's mother tells Julie that Sammy has suddenly been healed.Nothing in the book indicated that Mr. Banks needed glasses. In the episode, his actor, Marvin Karon, wears them. In seventh grade when I started to read, I didn't know exactly what to read or what interested me so every day at the end of the school day I would take the stairs (no elevator because it's a school obviously) to the fourth floor and head to our school library which mostly contained of Arabic books. I would go to the English section and the only books I would find were old, dusty, and duct-taped Goosebumps books.
