The level of sculpting detail on this figure is absolutely glorious, and the alternate classic head and fists are certainly welcome additions. This 6-inch Legends Series Dr. Doom figure features multiple points of articulation and is a great addition to any action figure collection There is no upper diaphragm moment, but his waist can pivot, tilt, and crunch to a degree. The skirt and hood and cape are all a bit of a hindrance for the range of various ranges of motion on this figure, but this isn’t Spider-Man—it’s Doctor Doom. For my purposes, I can achieve most of the poses I’d ever envision putting this maniacal monarch into. Your dynamic posing needs may vary. The Hasbro Marvel Legends Series is known for having a huge selection of articulated action figures depicting popular characters. If you’ve followed these heroes and villains for any length of time, you’re no doubt aware that they have gone through many incarnations, taking on new appearances to reflect eras of the comics and transitions to movies, TV shows, and video games. What this means is that the team at Hasbro aren’t short on source material from which to draw inspiration for new toys. He does have a decent upper though swivel, both knees bend very nicely, and even with the armored design of the feet, his ankles with hinge fairly nicely and feature limited pivot.You also get the option of swapping out the grasping hand and gesturing hand for a pair of fists. While Victor von Doom isn’t your usual fisticuffs brawler, he has been known to throw down for a good tussle now and again! And I will never fault a figure for giving us extra interchangeable parts for more options.
