Giardia and severe clinical worm infestations should be treated at 1ml per 2kg bodyweight of dog or cat for 3 consecutive days. Panacur Granules Sachets are a ready to administer broad-spectrum oral anthelmintic for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. Each panacur sachet is a 22% granulate formulation of Fenbendazole, each 1g Panacur Granules contains 0.22g of active ingredient Fenbendazole. Puppies should be treated at 2 weeks of age, 5 weeks of age and again before leaving the breeder's premises. Treatment may also be required at 8 and 12 weeks of age. Thereafter, the frequency of treatment can be reduced unless the pups remain in kennels where re-infestation occurs more readily. Every once in awhile, your veterinarian gives you unpleasant news. Sometimes, that news sounds like this: “ Your dog has worms.”

For treatment of lungworm in dogs administer 50mg fenbendazole (half the normal dose) per day for 7 consecutive days. For treatment of lungworm in cats administer 50mg fenbendazole (half the normal dose) per day for 3 consecutive days. See below for the correct dosage for your animal.

Panacur wormer paste can also be used on small adult dogs and kittens and is useful for adult cats who refuse tablets as a fenbendazole paste with 18 syringe graduations.

For the treatment of weaned puppies and kittens infected with gastro-intestinal roundworms and puppies infected with protozoa (Giardia spp.)Administer 100mg fenbenbazole per 1 kg (2.2 lbs) bodyweight as a single dose and repeated when natural re-infection with parasitic worms occurs. Routine treatment of adult animals is advisable 2 to 4 times per year. Broad-Spectrum Anthelmintic: Effective for treating domestic dogs and cats with roundworms in the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts. For control of lungworm Oslerus (Filaroides) osleri in cats, administer 50mg Fenbendazole per 2.2 lbs. bodyweight daily for 7 consecutive days. A repeated course of treatment may be required in certain cases. Assess bodyweight as accurately as possible and then administer one or a combination of the above sachets, which most closely doses this bodyweight. The dose should be administered by mixing it into the feed.
