Amaran 150C & 300C
The amaran 150c and 300c have an etched-glass optical element in front of their LED chips that blends each individual LED’s output into one cohesive beam of light. This allows for optimal compatibility with Bowens Mount optical modifiers such as the Aputure Fresnel 2X and the all new amaran Spotlight SE. In addition to this, both the 150c and 300c are compatible with any Bowens Mount soft light modifier on the market including the amaran Light Dome Mini SE. We are a credit broker and not a lender. Users who require adaptability from their lights will benefit from the amaran 150c and 300c’s integrated Bowens mount, which can be paired with nearly every Aputure and amaran (and 3 rd party) Bowens Mount modifier. By changing modifiers, these lights can fill the roles of multiple fixtures on set, from hard to soft. Utilising the same foundational RGBWW chipset found in other Aputure and amaran fixtures, the amaran 300c boasts stunning colour quality throughout its expanded 2,500K to 7,500K bi-colour CCT range. And with a CRI and TLCI of 95+, SSI (D56) of 71, and SSI (Tungsten) of 83, you can always ensure that you can light your subjects with confidence while reproducing accurate skin tones. amaran has created a few accessories designed for the 150c and 300c, specifically the Spotlight SE (with a 19-degree and a 36-degree lens available) and Light Dome Mini SE. Despite their compact formfactors, the amaran 150c and 300c lights both have a built-in full Bowens The new amaran 150c and 300c lights include a redesigned high-efficiency heat sink and silent active cooling system.There are 19-degree and 36-degree lenses to deliver versatile light output. The light includes an adjustable beam angle, and an 18-leaf iris (sold separately) can also be attached to adjust light quality further. The amaran Spotlight SE has an optional 18-blade iris users can place inside the spotlight for additional control over the light beam. These new amaran lights enjoy a wide CCT range of 2,500K to 7,500K, allowing users the flexibility to light warm to daylight-balanced scenes without the need to gel or switch out lights to achieve various colour temperatures. Being Sidus Link compatible lights, the ability to change colour temperatures on the fly without ever needing to touch the fixture only further reinforces the 150c and 300c as truly versatile, all-in-one light sources. The amaran 300c is amaran’s first-ever full-color 300W Bowens Mount point-source LED light, combining RGBWW full-color control, optical and soft light Bowens Mount versatility, integrated controls, and most importantly, high-quality light output. Created with an all-in-one design principal in mind, the 150c and 300c house powerful RGBWW LED chipsets that have impressive outputs, especially when paired with their included Bowens Mount Hyper Reflectors. Aputure has yet to release, or even say a whole lot at all, about its Sidus DMX system, but it will allow you to use DMX to control Sidus Link-compatible units, that don’t natively support DMX. Essentially, it will act as a translator between the two systems to add that DMX remote control functionality where it didn’t exist before. This means it’ll work with the Amaran 150C and 300C, as well as previous Amaran lights, like the 60/100/200 D/X S models ( buy here), the PT1C, PT2C, PT4C Pixel Tubes ( buy here) and even the SM5c flexible LED strip ( buy here). The amaran 150c and 300c are amaran’s first full-colour 150W and 300W point-source LED lights, combining RGBWW full-color control, optical and soft light Bowens Mount versatility, integrated controls, and most importantly, high-quality light output. In addition to their included AC Power Supplies, the amaran 150c and 300c lights are capable of running off DC power via battery solutions. Utilising their 48V DC power inputs, each fixture can be powered using two Gold or V-Mount batteries via the Aputure 2-Bay Battery Power Station (sold separately). With an octagonal diffusion design, filmmakers and creators can achieve rounder reflections and eye lights compared to a square or rectangular design.
Measuring 58.0 x 34.0 x 21.5cm (22.8 x 13.4 x 8.5in) when built, with a weight of only 0.73kg (1.61lbs), the Light Dome Mini SE is similar in size to but lighter than the Aputure Light Dome Mini II. The small size of the soft box allows it to be used effectively in confined spaces, and its lightweight mitigates the necessity of heavy stands to support it. amaran Spotlight SE Both fixtures feature a minimalist control interface that blends into the body for a simple yet elegant lamp head design, removing the need for a control box. The dual rear-facing side handles and redesigned Bowens Mount release latch even allow for ergonomic adjusting of the fixture wherever it is rigged.
