About this deal

Just to say though, if you're looking for a book that's filled with different twists on mashed potatoes and puréed carrots then this isn't for you.

The Mexican falafel black bean bites and the five spice Thai chicken cakes are delicious and are two meals we cannot wait to share with our little one when he is old enough. I’m preparing my baby for his weaning journey and I have found reading this book and the recipes a big help to settle my nerves. Yes, his wife breastfed and he talks about it briefly (and why shouldn'the, if that's what they did), but if anything, he bends over backwards to say "whatever works for you" throughout the book. Wicks started with single tastes each day and tried a range of savoury and bitter vegetables, for example, pureed broccoli on Monday, pureed courgette on Tuesday, and pureed potato on Wednesday, all blended or mashed with breastmilk. Where to start, how to offer Indie her first foods and what to do about tricky areas such as allergies and finger foods.

Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you.

The book which guides parents through the progression from milk feeding to solid food (from six months to 12month+) has Joe’s two-year-old daughter Indie on the cover (if you’re a fan of his YouTube classes you’ll already recognise the tot from her cameos in his workouts) and was inspired by his experiences weaning her and her little brother Marley, five months. Our favorite online PE teacher Joe Wicks has produced a cookbook with all things surrounding weaning, Wean In 15. There are loads of fantastic recipes, although too many with eggs in as my baby can’t eat eggs and no egg alternatives on the recipes with eggs. Joe Wicks has been a busy man - as well as leaping about on our screens every morning for PE with Joe Wicks , The Body Coach has also just released his new weaning cookbook, Wean In 15 .Baby weaning is quite an overwhelming journey for any new parent but this book uses real-life experiences to offer great advice and tips. I’ve not really been a follower of Joe’s Body Coach or the lockdown PE, but I really like the personal style of the writing which feels honest and his passion for nutrition really comes across. About the Author: Joe Wicks - aka The Body Coach - is the UK's best selling non-fiction author of 2016. This book made me feel so confident about weaning my baby onto solids and there are so many reviews for different ages and covers breakfast, snacks and other meals too which includes family meals for when your little ones older!

This is a used book - there is no escaping the fact it has been read by someone else and it will show signs of wear and previous use. The 'basics' section at the beginning of the book provides you with so much up to date and straightforward information, it gives you the confidence to start weaning. The accurate measurements provided make it easier to create the exact meal, even if this is a little more time consuming than the methods in other books. Check by slicing into one of the larger pieces to make sure the meat is white all the way through, with no raw pink bits left. It is accepted by you that Daunt Books has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance.

He teamed up with a nutritionist Charlotte Sterling-Reed to provide weaning advice along with tasty meals for everyone to enjoy!

Has your baby has lost the tongue thrust (which leads to more food being pushed out than swallowed)? With 100 recipes, he is here to make food yummy for the little ones, but also feed the parents as well! In Wean In 15, Wicks highlights that the recommended age to begin weaning varies from country to country. By now you should know what to feed your baby – and how to feed him – during the first four weeks of the weaning journey. The book also contains NHS guidelines on weaning for parents to refer to such as when to stop giving babies milk and when to introduce nuts. With simple recipes and meal plans, Wicks outlines a 15-day plan designed to help babies and parents transition to a healthier diet.
