About this deal

David Jason will not be known outside of England but has been a mainstay on out TV screens here since the mid-1970s.

Although he was thrust into the spotlight (reluctantly) in the school production, David showed dedication to a theatre group and pursued a career as an electrician before he got his big break.Michael Fenton Stevens again delivers a rich performance, perfectly portraying the author's personality.

Obviously, this book wouldn’t be able to get away without including the phenomenon that is Only Fools And Horses.Jason has expressed a negative opinion of the European Union, being quoted in a 2012 interview with "the Germans want to run Europe. There's lot of details and insider info on other beloved characters and happenings in Only Fools and other shows, so this is a real super treat for all the fans. Penguin presents the complete unabridged, downloadable audiobook edition of Gone by Min Kym, read by Rebecca Yeo. He appeared in the Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) episode " That's How Murder Snowballs" (1969) as Abel, a framed performer in a major London theatre.

A born practical joker, he was naturally in awe of those a little further up the ladder in the hall of fame. The free download of the first chapter is a big misrepresentation as David Jason narrates this chapter giving the impression he’s the books narrator and he’s not. I would love to see Mr Jason's life story depicted on film and I think it has the potential to one day do so! I like a biography, I seem to read enough of them lately, so this one seemed like it would provide a little amusement. Giving up on an unloved career as an electrician, he turned his attention to acting and soon, through a natural talent for making people laugh, found himself working with the leading lights of British comedy in the 1960s and '70s: Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Bob Monkhouse and Ronnie Barker.

For a man that doesn't do a lot of interviews and is very private, he gives away just the right amount of personal details whilst still holding on to his privacy.

David Jason has managed to illustrate that missing out the autobiographical genre from my reading means I’m missing out on memory, entertainment and enjoyment. Through a natural talent for making people laugh, found himself working with the leading lights of British comedy in the 1960s and ’70s: Eric Idle, Michael Palin, Bob Monkhouse and Ronnie Barker. Jason had a happy childhood and adolescence and appears to be an unassuming man who doesn't particularly care for the limelight his profession brings. He chose the stage name Jason because he liked Jason and the Argonauts, as the stage name "David White" was already taken, and not in tribute to his dead twin as has sometimes been claimed. As someone who was born in the early 80's I've grown up seeing him in some of the most popular TV series.
