After finding a loose wire,I really thought I would not need it but the Hunter went south again today.

In that case they simply capped off the blue wire and made no connection at the t-stat, but I have no idea if there was any VDC(-) supplied to the A/C elsewhere, or even if it is needed. The other bundle heads to/from the A/C and will consist of a ground (usually blue), cool (usually yellow but you don't have one), fan low (usually gray, again you don't have) and fan high (usually green). So, I guess I would then ponder, does it do any good or harm to connect the blue wire that leads to the A/C to the VDC(-) that is not connected to the t-stat.
