About this deal

The drydown has a familiar feeling… it’s definitely got a dryer sheet vibe, which sauvage also has, except sauvage is so much more scratchy and piercing. When it was first released I had a quick test at a local retailer and must admit my first thought was that this is not too bad. I'm going to pay an hommage to this fragrance as it doesn't get that much love in the fragrance community. Fresh, sicilian type of a guy, white, linnen shirt doesn't last super long, projection is not superb. On first impression I did not fall in love with K but I wouldn't mind getting to know K a bit better!

I used to find the fig note too dense, not sweet enough to represent the fruit and not green enough to represent the leaves. I know he's not like the other blokes when he goes out, and I hope this conveys that to the young women on the prowl, so the Not much to say about this one - it's a crowd-pleasing masculine fragrance, even more generic than the ubiquitous Sauvage and its countless clones. Despite any negative reviews, in my opinion, this fragrance smells excellent, exuding a masculine aroma and lasting well throughout the day. which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN 311908) for consumer credit and general insurance and a member of the Finance and Leasing Association. This perfume doesn't deserve the backlash that it got when it debuted, its a nice and appealing scent for the mass. I'm quite picky and generally don't go much for "blue" or "freshie" fragrances, but I don't really get why this one is getting so many dislikes.

The scent however to me is just an unintelligible chemical mess from which i can not pick apart any notes.I sold my bottle of this because I never found myself reaching for it due to its generic, “play it safe” feel once the blood orange faded away. I know what gin smells like, but I have no idea what juniper berries alone smells like, so perhaps it’s the berries that sets this one apart from the other summer fragrances? The opening to this fragrance is where it shines the most; that blood orange is incredible and very pronounced. It reminds me of one of the shower creams I have used in the past and just doesn't differentiate itself from that.

I would immediately reject this if I concentrated on the bergamot/vanilla notes that remind me of Versace Blue Jeans (a juice that now days makes me nauseous). This is not a sweet syrupy fragrance, opens with a blast of citrus and spice as it dries down through the mid more florals are present and the fig starts making it creamier, but there is still that green in the background. It has some elements of fresh spiciness, some dry spices and some aromatic but isn’t good enough to land any of them. All of them would be fair enough, as it's a subjective fragrance not mass appealing and for a designer they took a risk not going with a mass appealing route but more designer fragrance need to take risks. This is a nice fragrance though, it flew under my radar and I kinda just wrote it off like it was going to be really bad and it didn't get much love in the fragrance community but it deserves more love than it gets especially since for a fresh fragrance it's unique and has character it's not so generic.

It's not a bad scent at all, but I'm a bit biased against it as I generally don't care for green scents. I'm not native to North Carolina, so pimento cheesespread on my hotdogs, burgers and chicken sandwiches will never be a thing for me, like spaetzle at Thanksgiving dinner will never be a thing for my neighbors.

Anyway, I think I like EDT a little more than EDP, which I consider an EDT with a fig leaf and a hint of coconut milk note, and a little more longevity.
