About this deal

I have grouted the wall tiles in my new walk in ensuite shower at last and now need to seal the two internal corners where the tiles meet. TeleSeal’s unique design enables it to be fixed to existing tiles or below new tiling, TelesSeal can even be fitted to misaligned tiles and deep grout joints and still provide the seal as desired.

so should I apply it between masking tape, if so how do I prevent a raised edge forming by tape edges and should the tape be removed immediately or after sealant has cured? If you've read through our guide and realised with horror that there is a large gap between your bathtub and the wall, preventing you from sealing around your bathtub, don't panic!

Once you’ve got your equipment and tools ready, it’s time to start sealing your bath (which we recommend leaving a whole afternoon to do! The walls are currently sealed to the tray with a curved profile strip of plastic plus silicon sealant. Due to additional charges imposed by our couriers for deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, offshore islands and Northern Ireland, a surcharge may be levied to cover carriage to these areas. I'm fairly certain it's from that corner, hit every part of the seal with the shower apart from the corner and it was dry.

Thoroughly dry the entire cleaned area and waterproof the gap between pan and surround before covering it with any trim. I can see the sealant coming away slightly on one of the ends of the tub where it meets the wall/tiles. My concern is that where the new silicone on one side will meet the old silicone on the long side in the corner that it may not create a perfect seal.

You can fix this in place with silicone or no nails rather than screwing it, as it might be the tightening of the screw that is pushing the prop upwards! You could maybe confirm the point of the leak, by drying the area off, then applying a length of PVC tape between panel and corner. Tired-looking sealant can drag the visual appeal of a bathroom right down, so a smooth sealant is a simple bathroom refresh without breaking the bank! No more 45 degree angles to cut thanks to the patented "Interlock System", BathSeal Ultra 10 looks great when fitted, but most importantly works extra hard to prevent those annoying leaks from happening in your bathroom. Leave to partially cure before running a square edged float / other up the internals and sponge off the remainder making sure to clean it all off the already grouted bits.
