I just now unboxed it, made sure the battery was fully charged (it was) and paired it via bluetooth with one of my laptops. Also the washers give you the ability to play with the pressure itself (tightening or untightening the screw) and hence the pre-travel distance, so you can actually adjust it to your preference. Hi Trackballer, I work on a iMac using the latest OS X El Capitan with Kensington TrackballWorks installed which supposedly allows up or down scrolling to be determined by a left (counter-clockwise) or right (clockwise) button.
If you get the Kensington SlimBlade Pro, I would suggest trying all connection modes and DPI settings to find what works best for you. Now Kensington offers the Wireless version of the SlimBlade, the Kensington SlimBlade Pro Trackball.Please allow 2 working days for a response as some item's enquiries with international suppliers may be required. It has four buttons on the top, and two additional inputs, all of which you can reprogram to perform a variety of office or media functions. The chrome ring can be seen in the image below of my trackball, but on the official Kensington images, it looks just black or grey. With Bluetooth, slide the slider down to the bottom and then press and hold the DPI button on the right side to enter pairing mode.
