Aged in a Solera system utilising casks that previously held Oloroso and Amontillado Sherries, this brandy boasts a rich, earthy flavour profile with hints of tobacco and old oak upfront. The Carlos I brand of brandy was created in 1940 to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of Carlos I, King of Spain from 1516 to 1556. The solera system is a series of stacked barrels, with the oldest brandy at the bottom and the youngest brandy at the top.
