Piano Time 1 is full of simple exercises and fun pieces by Pauline Hall and guests, including ‘If you should meet a crocodile’, ‘Indian dance’ and ‘Don’t care blues’, among some traditional tunes you will recognise such as ’She’ll be coming round the mountain’ and ‘Au clair de la lune’. All of the pieces are arranged for really easy piano (pre-grade-1 standard) and have dynamics, articulation, fingerings, and performance directions in the music. Cool tips and puzzles

Pauline Hall's Piano Time 1 gradually introduces you all the important things! The starting out section teaches you the basics for ‘Getting Around The Piano’, ‘Musical Words’, reading notes and musical signs and finger/hand positions. It then gradually introduces you to new notes using clear keyboard diagrams, starting with right and left hand notes from middle C. Piano Time 1 covers note values, rests, ties, dynamics, accidentals, keys of C major, G major and F major, chords, quavers, intervals, changing hand positions, dotted notes and leger lines. There are even two duets to play along with your teacher or a friend! Great fun for beginners
